This is truly one of my favorite places of all time! I have been able to visit this amazing city 4 times and have enjoyed every minute. This is a picture taken of the Upper West Side from across the pond in Central Park in October of 2014.

THIS is where art came alive for me. I could truly spend an entire month here.

Working in downtown Salt Lake was a wonderful experience for me. Temple Square is a favorite place to visit.
One of my favorite times to be in Salt Lake City is during the summer and the Days of '47 statehood holiday celebrations.
I had the privilege of visiting Washington, D.C. with my son and a school tour group during the inauguration of 2012. It was truly amazing to visit so many historical sites in one trip and to take part in history in the making.
I grew up in Northern Utah, and moved away from home to attend college in Southern Utah. I fell in love with the topography of the land and the red of the mountains.
I embraced the warmth and sun of moving to Southern California and had no trouble adjusting to my new surroundings - UNTIL one year later when I drove back to Utah during the day. It took me some time to identify that I was homesick and it was the Red Rocks of Southern Utah that did it.

When living in California, my family made the trek to the beach at least 3 times each summer.
When I first moved to Southern, California, I struggled with the sand at the beach. It gets into everything and it's impossible to come home without bringing sand along. However, it has grown on me and I now find digging my feet into the hot sand to be one of the most relaxing parts of the summer.
Now that we live far from the beach it is a destination we look forward to visiting again soon.

This library became a place of refuge and serenity for me during a turbulent time in my life. It not only provided quiet and calm, but a beautiful place to work.
Built in 1898 with craftsman workmanship, it is a beautiful landmark and public treasure.
