Philosophy of Education
“Be a Lamp, Be a Lifeboat, Be a Ladder”
My philosophy of education is founded on the principles of integrity, responsibility, collaboration and respect. I believe that as school leaders we do what is right, not what is easy. I am committed to building communities that are centred on the core principles of student achievement and wellbeing. As a leader, I work to create a shared vision and to inspire change with the goal of building a school community that is strongly committed to student wellness and actively respectful of the needs of our diverse school community while continuing to have high expectations for student achievement. I believe that we need to build innovative opportunities for success for all learners. I also believe in my responsibility to support all school community stakeholders in reaching this goal.
