Objective: Excellence in support of Student Achievement and Wellbeing
Co-ordinate all efforts to support term reporting and report card distribution
Oversee the school-wide implementation of the OSSLT
Create supervision schedules for staff
Consult with Building Lead Hand to manage all physical plant and health and safety issues
Collaboratively address student transportation issues
Staff absence management
Communicate with community partners to support students
Daily communications with parents and students
Oversee transition planning for students with special education needs
Facilitate staff meetings
Support team of Office Assistants
Conduct teacher performance appraisals as needed
Consult with various resource staff such as our on-site guidance staff, social workers, psychologist, program co-ordinators and VP colleague from to address individual student concerns
Support the Principal in interviewing and hiring staff
Build school timetable and allocate rooms
Progressive discipline using a restorative lens with students
Design and facilitate PD opportunities for staff focusing on Equity, Anti-racism and Anti-oppression
Design and facilitate PD opportunities for staff around student/staff mental health and wellbeing
Conduct Investigations
