Healing Embodied Supremacy (HES)

Healing Embodied Supremacy, is a political project co-founded by trainers and politicized healers in 2020 to dismantle and transform white supremacy and all interlocking systems of oppression and supremacy. We practice at the intersection of community organizing and healing justice using the methodology of politicized somatics in the lineage of generative somatics. 

Healing Embodied White Supremacy (HEWS) Courses

Healing Embodied White Supremacy, a program of Healing Embodied Supremacy (HES), is a Politicized Somatic Course for white organizers, activists and community workers who are actively organizing groups of people for social change and are ready to transform their internalized white supremacy towards embodying racial justice. It is a political project to build embodied capacity and a network of white activists and community workers. in social justice movments. 

HEWS Course History

In 2020, Dona and Sue co-founded Healing Embodied Supremacy (formally known as Healing White-Body Supremacy*) and have co-facilitated the Healing Embodied Supremacy courses since the Spring of 2021, annually offering seasonal virtual and in-person cohorts, practice groups and workshops. When possible guest teachers are invited to co-facilitate the courses and deepen the learning of the cohorts.

Dona and Sue continue to be humbled and inspired by the depth of practice they witness and the learning that they experience alongside the course participants. They are committed to practicing and sharing these learnings with the progressive movements of the racial, social and climate justice community for the liberation of the land, the people, the ancestors and all life.
