Fundraising

Headway Lincolnshire is a registered charity and needs to raise a lot of money to deliver our services; at present our services are not funded by fees. The charity relies on fundraising activities, donations and grant-giving organisations to provide existing and expanding services to our members.

We have recently worked with corporate partners and have really enjoyed building strong partnerships. Companies get involved with sponsorship, staff fundraising and volunteering, mentoring and corporate team activities. We, in turn, have strong links with the media and endeavour to promote these companies to raise awareness of the company and all we do. We are delighted to have been chosen as Charity of the Year 2022 by three organisations:

• Shooting Star - PR, Marketing, Digital: an award-winning Lincoln-based agency which has pledged a year of pro-bono expert PR and marketing support to help raise Headway Lincolnshire's profile in local and national media.

• Lincoln City FC: throughout the season, the club is committed to helping Headway Lincolnshire at management level in order to assist with fundraising activities, all designated to raise the profile of the charity. We will be given the utmost priority for the club's help in fundraising activities, including matchday bucket collections.

• The Ballhouse, Boston: a family-run pub and restaurant in Boston which has lots of exciting fundraising opportunities and sponsored events planned for 2022 in aid of both Headway Lincolnshire and the Butterfly Hospice Trust.

If you are keen to get involved with any opportunities to raise money for Headway Lincolnshire, and whatever your idea, whether it’s an afternoon tea, a pamper party, running a marathon, or a non uniform day, we would love to hear from you.

Headway Lincolnshire is one of the good causes to benefit from the new Lincoln Community Lottery, 50 pence of every ticket sold in aid of Headway Lincolnshire comes directly to the charity enabling us to provide much needed support and information to brain injury survivors and their families.
