Hung D. Nguyen Lab at University of Central Florida is looking for highly motivated and hard-working postdocs with strong background and training in one of those areas: Cancer Immunology/biochemistry/molecular-cell biology to participate in very interesting projects. NIH -scale salary and excellent scientific training programs are expected to be in Dr. Nguyen's Lab. Please check detail: https://jobrxiv.org/job/university-of-central-florida-27778-postdoc-in-immunometabolism/
The Nguyen lab focuses on studying immunometabolism in cancer immunology, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and COVID-19. With multiple mouse- or human-to-mouse xenograft models of transplantation, we aim to understand the immunological response in GVHD “Lysosomal Acid Lipase Is Required for Donor T Cells to Induce Graft-versus-Host Disease” Cell Report 2021" and the cellular exhaustion in adoptive T cell transfer therapy, Cell Metabolism 2018". We also elucidate the immunological response in COVID-19 severity (Metabolic dysregulation induces impaired lymphocyte memory formation during severe SARS-CoV-2 infection, Communication Biology)
A new research-based technician position is available immediately in Dr. Nguyen Lab at the UCF Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences at the Lake Nona campus. Please check detail https://jobrxiv.org/job/university-of-central-florida-27778-laboratory-technician/
We are currently looking forward to highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students joining our group to work on the cutting-edge projects in GVHD and Cancer Immunotherapy.
