The 'Shallow Grave Method' Lingers
To my dismay, and many others, it has been found in the news recently that over the past year 2024, especially on the East Coast of the USA, there has been a markedly high number of fatalities where the victim, usually female, has been left in a shallow grave or something similar to it.
Real brief, ... this by the way is not the end of what readers are going to hear,... before another second goes by;:
Year before's September was affected by the incident involving Mariame Toure Sylla. The Greenbelt, Maryland area, in general, suburbs close to DC, whereat the school teacher apparently went missing late July 29, 2023, and after hard fought search, finally found about September a few months later, in a wooded area.
The DC and surrounding suburbs was affected by perhaps one of the most unforgettable incidents in the disappearance of Chandra Levy. It stated in about May 2001. More than 20 years ago. Her remains evidently found in a park like area about a year later.
After... a news flash of a few seconds about a Montgomery County, MD -one of the close and contiguous counties to DC,- female, an entire TV movie explaining her disappearance. The name did not stick to memory, but the general jist did, the story should not be too hard to find.
So it was thought. Only to be overwhelmed by story after story about incidents that transpired involving shallow graves over the past year.
One of the most recent is the case in the Philadelphia, PA area, November 2024, where in Fox Chase, in late 20s age Ms Rivera found. Suspect of interest sought.
At or near the beginning of last year, 2023, in Montgomery County, MD, a female was reported missing. Ms Chavez without going into detail. Rockville/Bethesda startup, body found in wooded area near a major artery.
Developing in the past several days, identity confirmed, Monongalia County West Virginia, Morgantown woman, Ms. Osborne, reportedly missing over or about 7 months, had remains found in shallow grave remote type location near roads, about 3 weeks ago.
There are other locations in the US with similar place names which have had similar situations.
...a full scope study of shallow grave usage in connection with assaults just in 2024, might take so long to do at the rate crime is right now, the project might not end in time, before other crimes set in.
That crime rate needs to change, not to minimum, to zero.
Minds need to change.
Bottom line: the behavior need no be present, it needs to go out of style, 100 mph to 0 in 0 seconds, and stay out of style.

Just when some of the violence on the mainland began to wind down, suddenly, another source of violence. It is not the first time pipe bombs have been a threat, nor mailings with explosive or matter hazards to your health. Mass shootings have been dogging Government agendas and everyone, especially in the area of shootings at schools and educational institutions.
