So I had almost gave up and when got back to the drawing board Is was already the 14 of october. So the prompt was empty. What is more empty than a blank page? Nope. A dark page is clearly better since white at least shines light back. It should be black but show that this black was made (so strokes in translucid black are necessary). So the idea was an almost dark page that, when you remove the paint shows a sad and lonely person: better yeat, a lonely ghostly person. Empty.
That was the result...
#Inktober 2022, Day 14: Empty
That was probably the image I made that got the least amount of praise. I understant why: there is not much to it. But, that I actually liked it a lot more for it. I managed, off course to make this image using the most time consuming method possible:
After that I covered with a totally black layer and, using a soft erasing tool revealed parts of the image. Finishng touches where using a translucid black brush. And that is it, pretty straighforward. Now, this is a good place to make a pause. As I said before, every single day after that I made sketches, but not everyone of then made it in time to be posted.
Days #15 and #16, were still bare sketches during Inktober, so I will post then at the end with the remaining "work in progress". By the posting date, the next one was #17 - Salty.
