In this game, you're going to have to go through an adventure in the classroom, with many different questions on gender. Answer them all correctly, and you're free to go! Playing this game will give you knowledge on how to handle a situation when it comes to Gender identity or Gender representation.
The name of the game, Express Lane, stems from its content being Gender Expression. The title is a play on words, because express lanes are types of highway lanes designed to offer drivers an alternatively faster route for their travel, which is the exact purpose of why we created our game. To be a more convenient and beginner friendly way for people to learn and understand the concept of Gender Expression and aspects related to it.
In Express Lane, players will catch the factual statements about gender expression and avoid the false statements. Players must use their knowledge to distinguish between well-grounded information and stereotypes, misconceptions, or harmful stereotypes about gender expression.
Who are the Plastics?
They're teen royalty. If Northshore High School was a game made in Scratch, they would always be the main characters.
Playing Clique Wars will allow you to step into the shoes of Cady Heron, a new transfer student just trying to make her way in the good ol' US of A. As Cady navigates her way through the treacherous Northshore Cafeteria, she encounters her fellow students (Janis Ian, Aaron Samuels, the Plastics, and their teacher, Ms. Norbury), who have questions about Gender Expression in Media.
Players will have to know what is right or wrong in regards to the main topics: "The Sexualization of Transgender and Non-Binary people in Media" and "Gender Pay Gap in the Entertainment Industry", because not knowing is so not fetch!
