UI, HUD, MENUS
Here is the main menu I produced for Godzilla: Save the Earth - Melee based on concept art by Iris Baker for the game (set as the video's thumbnail.) It is a modernization and stylistic enhancement of the first game's menu.
New main menu theme written and composed by Zane A. Goen

PARTICLES and VFX
Here are two videos showcasing the particle and vfx work done for Godzilla: Save the Earth - Melee. The video on the left shows the original game (Save the Earth, 2004). The video on the right shows the same monsters and cities in the new game (Save the Earth Melee, 2024).
While comparing, notice the new:
• Water Droplets and Splashes
• Hit Effects and Impacts
• Screen Shake
• Footsteps and Debris
• Building Destruction and Spreadable Fire
• Trail Effect "Swooshes" on Attacks
• Weather on Certain Maps (Rain, Snow)

COMPOSITING and LEVELS
For G:STEM, I am the compositor for the game's builds. I take everyone's assets and merge them together: color-correcting, tweaking fog values, fixing up textures, and more.
CAMERA
The camera system has been reworked in its entirety in G:STEM. Now, when two monsters are close together, the camera is lower to the ground: and provides a more parallel view of the two players, like a traditional fighting game. With the monsters taking up more of the screen, they feel larger. The greater the distance between the two monsters, the more the camera pulls back and shows a helicopter's-eye-view of the fight.
The camera also tracks better, and is more adaptive to changes in player position.
