SYNOPSIS AND PRODUCTION NOTES

MTRRDR! (Pronounced Meter-Reader) has a recipe that's one part detective series,  and one part sci-fi; mix weirdness to taste. It's an audacious, boundary-pushing  series set in a dystopian future where surrealism and satire collide. The show’s core lies in its dark, irreverent humor and subversive exploration of societal norms, making it a unique blend of absurdity, intellect, and crassness.

What was supposed to be just a one-off sh*t-post animation, tuned into a full blown pilot somewhere around July/August of 2024. Something about the way the world was constructed, I just had to flesh it out (pun intended). Things developed, and I had a script, then a cold open, and a lot of work to do. I looked at this cartoon in my head, the same way a kid who just got his driver's license in the 60's looked at a candy red hot-rod roadster-  I wanted a cool one.
