Hey!

I'm Shane McCaulley, the guy behind Haven Studios, and the one here with the face (sorry about that by the way)

Since I was a kid I've always been head over heels for drawing and cartoons. I started drawing little monsters and robots, and then anime characters and eventually indie comics- for better or worse it stuck.

Cut to my thirties, that's still true- and I've fallen in love with animation as both a vocational discipline, and medium for storytelling and expression; Anything is possible, and it's challenged me in ways that no other artistic undertaking has, because it combines almost every skillset I've spent my entire life honing.

Animation lets me coalesce my love for drawing, music, filmmaking, writing, sound design, voice acting, and goofing off into something you can actually feel, and have a good time watching: and I think that's pretty special <3

My latest projects include MTRRDR!, a Sci-Fi detective series, and Yinzrs, a wholesome hometown Halloween short.
