I believe every child is born with a natural spark of curiosity. But somewhere between the high-stakes testing and the "one-size-fits-all" pace of traditional classrooms, that spark can start to dim. I’ve seen it happen from the front of the classroom as a teacher, and I’ve felt it at my own kitchen table as a mother.
That is why I created Haven.
I am a Florida-certified teacher with a K-12 background. Since 2017, I’ve worked with every age group, from kindergartners picking up their first books to high schoolers preparing for the real world.
Through that experience, I realized that while every child learns differently, they all share the same need: to be truly seen. At Haven, I use my secondary-education perspective to ensure your 3rd–6th grader isn't just "getting by," but is building the deep foundational confidence they need for the years ahead.
Haven isn’t just a school—it’s a soft place for big ideas to land. We prioritize:
Confidence over Competition: We slow down when things are tough and fly when a student finds their passion.
Hands-On Mastery: Moving from "consumer" to "creator" through projects that actually matter to them.
A Nurturing Environment: A small-group setting where your child isn't a number—they are a vital part of a community.
My goal is simple: to make learning feel meaningful, joyful, and safe again. I can’t wait to meet your family and see how your child shines in this space.
