Quantum gates from the middle convolution of twisted Burau representations
Haru Negami — September 2026
This preprint presents a framework for constructing quantum gates from unitary braid group representations arising from middle convolution for KZ-type equations. It establishes conditions for non-Clifford and entangling gates, gives explicit decompositions into elementary quantum circuits, and includes a matched-resource comparison with Quantum Shannon decomposition.
