During my final year of undergraduate, I was appointed as the President of the Third Dimension Aeromodelling Club, an official aeromodelling club of NIT Trichy. I led this 41-member student team which has two main domains namely Aero and Tronix. I was instrumental in building an entire roadmap of activities for the academic year 2021 - 2022, which aided in focusing on a clear-cut vision to move ahead. I devised strategic plans that enabled the various teams and sub-teams to win in major national-level Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) competitions like AT-VTOLA IIT Bombay, Albatross NITC, and Sangam NITT held across India. Throughout the process of preparing for these competitions, I coordinated with my core team members to formulate action plans to achieve various events and provided time-to-time actionable feedback to the teams. I made sure the team utilized every opportunity coming our way by wise usage of the budget allocated by our college student council. At the same time to leverage the team, formed new sub-teams like publicity and marketing and we worked tirelessly to get sponsorship from Dassault Systemes SolidWorks to take part in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) aerial robotics and drone competitions. Receiving this sponsorship was considered a major milestone since this initiative was taken first time in the history of our aeromodelling club. From organizing guest lectures to networking with industry professionals, I took various new initiatives throughout my tenure. With immense support from my college student council, I founded student satellite and rocketry teams since we as a team were aware of the necessity of such teams which would benefit the student community at a large scale. I worked with uncompromisable integrity to contribute largely to the overall development of the team culturally, financially, and in its core expertise. I maintained the overall decorum of the team and safeguarded the unity, work ethics, and morale among the members.
