Minmini is an organization that is all set to fight against climate change by actually creating an impact by taking climate action at the local level and scaling it up globally. The uniqueness of the organization is using technology to combat climate change in various ways possible like conserving nature, doing clean-up drives of polluted water bodies, etc. Another specialty is we are set to strengthen the rural economy since we are based out in Namakkal, a small rural town in Tamil Nadu. Our primary focus is on invasive species eradication and converting them into useful products by generating a circular economy by building sustainable business models, so that we can restore the groundwater level depleted by invasive species like Prosopis. The potential impact would be creating local climate resilience and improving local livelihood by generating employment for the people in the area.
