“Voldemort's fear of death fuels his
evil ways”

Eros refers to life instinct while Thanatos refers to Death instinct. If we see the character of Voldemort than in Voldemort, Life instinct is much more powerful. He has a desire to become immortal. And deep desire for immorality leads him to work in evil ways and creates horcrux. So, Fear of Death became the greatest weakness of Voldemort. Dumbledore also says...
“You are quite wrong,” said Dumbledore . . . . “Indeed, your failure to understand that there are things much worse than death has always been your greatest weakness.”
Acceptance towards Death
Life and Death are two opposite things but still they go parallel to one another. You enjoy life if you accept the mortality of life. And for that you have to accept that Death is inevitable. And here in the Harry Potter Series Harry's attitude towards death is much more positive. He knows that one day he will die. And this acceptance leads him to feel the love in life. Albus Dumbledore also says to Harry that...
"You are the true master of death, because the true Master does not seek to run away from Death. He accepts that he must die, and understand that there are far, far worse things in the living world than dying.” -
Albus Dumbledore
Death is not something to be feared, but rather we should fear a life lived without love.
The Harry Potter Series does not show death as something to be afraid of or something unfortunate. But it shows that death is a part of life and it is obviously going to come one day. So, why do we have fear towards death? It shows that death is not painful.
"To the well organised mind, death is, but a great adventure."
"Death is beautiful, not painful"
"Do not pity the dead, pity the living and above all those who live without love."
Fear of Death does not allow us to feel the importance of Love in life. If we once get acceptance towards death we can feel love in life. Same happens with Harry who gets victory over Death by accepting it. And a kind of aura of their parent's love and friend's love give him a strength to defeat dark lord Voldemort. While Voldemort on the other side having fear of death does not allow him to understand the meaning of love in life. Ultimately led towards his downfall.
