Hidden ways portraying patriarchy
The first film of this series is 'The philosopher's stone' which sounds like Children's Literature. In addition, in this movie one main focus is on Harry's growth as a child. He goes to school and makes friends, which children do in their childhood, as well as the movie focuses on action. The characters, like Harry, Hermione, or Ron, feel safe without inner conflicts. These examples prove that Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone focuses on action and it is a children's literature. But the other parts are not like children's literature. It seems like a children's literature but there are themes are like
Love and death,
jealousy
Power Politics
Search for self
Conflict between good and evil
Dangers of life
Purity of blood(racism)
Class conflict
Which seems more realistic than children's literature.
