" J. K. Rowling has claimed publicly to be a religious woman and has stated that the Harry Potter books do not collide with her beliefs. Rowling does a good job of portraying a magical and pre-Christian world reminiscent of paganism but structures the novel series with the Christian story of sacrifice and redemption.
