Hi, I’m Kayla Harmon — welcome! I’m so glad you’re here and taking steps toward feeling more connected with yourself and the world around you.
It’s often said that the most important part of counseling is the relationship between counselor and client — and I wholeheartedly believe that. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Juneau, Alaska, and hold a Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
My clinical approach is individualized for each person I work with. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindful Self-Compassion to help clients create balance and meaning in their lives. Together, we explore life’s challenges, identify internal and external barriers, and practice skills to build emotional regulation, mindfulness, and self-acceptance. My goal is to help you replace judgment and shame with curiosity, clarity, and compassion — so you can move toward a more intentional and fulfilling life. Additionally, I am trained in Brainspotting, a somatic-based modality that helps process trauma and unresolved issues.
