I have added a fillet to the feet of the chair so the stress concentration on them will be lessened and they'll look more visually appealing. The feet will be interference-fitted into the the chair. There will also be a plastic plate in the hollow of the chair to cover the pressure sensor, motor, and Arduino; the plate will either be screwed or welded onto the underside of the seat. Either option would neatly and securely attach the plate to the chair body.
