Happiness and well being, two key terms that have become extremely relevant in the last twenty years, are no longer only about subjective mental states and economic conditions that lead to a good life. They have far reaching implications for cognitive science, technology, environment, academia & pedagogy, and diverse related fields. Moreover, the connect between happiness research and its applications, which draws academia and industry together, is the future where translation of research into tangibles can and do take place. The current Meet focuses on such a convergence between academia and industry around the theme of happiness, in order to find opportunities and avenues for strong collaborations.

Topics related to creativity and innovation at workplace may include creating something new, either a new idea, concept or method and using the creation to enhance performance of a process, person, team or organization.

Theme 2: Mindfulness and Relaxation at Workplace

Topics related to mindfulness and relaxation at workplace may include focus and awareness at the workplace, dealing with internal and external distractions, theories, application and effects of mindfulness practices at the workplace etc.

Theme 3: Happy Leaders for Happy Workplace

Topics related to happy leaders for happy workplace may include different leadership and happiness theories, leader-employee relationship, team management, motivation and efficiency, organizational behavior and management etc.

Topics related to employee happiness and wellbeing may include workplace environment, work culture, productivity, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, work-life balance etc.
