Professionally Me
My deep desire to develop knowledge in law and policy, to practice law, and to champion justice has been intrinsically tied to my ambition for most of my life. Like many students, I will enter law school with an open mind about what exact career path I will follow, and I am looking forward to the guidance and mentorship I will receive from professors in many different legal fields. One thing that I am sure of is that I want to dedicate some aspect of my career to practicing law within the public policy sphere. For example, I could see myself dedicating my talents and interests to pursuing justice in elections-related policy, civil rights advocacy for the Department of Justice, or eventually on the bench or as an elected official.Â
Personally Me
I am driven and motivated by my family and friends, constant sources of love and support in my life. I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today if it weren't for my dad's morning pep talks on the drive to school, my mom's encouragement and push to help me achieve my potential, and my friends' unfaltering belief in me and their warm company that feels like family. Let everything on this website serve as a "thank you" to God for his goodness and grace over my life, and to everyone who makes my sun shine a little brighter!
