按照IUPAC的定義,不對稱合成(enantioselective synthesis、asymmetric synthesis),也稱手性合成、立體選擇性合成、對映選擇性合成,是研究向反應物引入一個或多個具手性元素的化學反應的有機合成分支。不對稱合成目前在藥物合成和天然產物全合成中都有十分重要的地位。近年來本實驗室的研究主題就著重在有機小分子的不對稱催化反應上。有機催化劑有幾個重要的優勢: 價格低廉、便於使用及無毒。另外 由於對水分和氧氣較不敏感,一些較為嚴苛的反應條件如需在惰性氣體下操作,低溫和乾燥溶劑等條件可以避免。近年來本實驗室的研究重點放在開發新的(不對稱)有機催化方法學,同時並對這些反應利用物理有機及理論計算進行反應機構的探討。
Our research group conducts research in the fields of organocatalysis focusing on the development of novel (asymmetric) processes using organocatalytic methods. The aim of our research is to get a better understanding of reactivity and stereoselectivity in organic chemistry, by using both experimental and computational means, and apply these results to the development of innovative strategies in synthesis, allowing ultimately for the efficient synthesis of pharmaceutically relevent compounds.
