Crash Course In Romance (Haeng-Seon & Chi-Yeol): Give me a noona romance featuring a man who has not felt warmth in 1000 years (ok not literally but this dude needs to have a warm meal made by an amazing lady!) This drama fell apart at the end (this seems to be a theme this year) but the couple makes it worth watching.

I finally watched the first 2 eps of Tale of the Nine-tailed and I'm loving the almost black comedy-like atmosphere. I see a lot of ppl comparing it to Goblin, but tbh other than LDW and it being a fantasy drama, I feel like TotNT is a darker show, and it's def more my cup of tea. Also, it's abt time we get a kdrama that involves forest spirits! Love it.

Do You Like Brahms? (airing) Soft couple who loves to internalize their emotions, thus always feeling a certain way often without communicating. While there are some very lovely moments between the main couple, mostly everyone is walking around really upset (though I really like the show!)

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes: This drama has a lot of psychological thriller-y aspects but the style of filming is really interesting and the leads could not be more angsty (especially the guy). It takes them a while to get together and while not entirely pleasant, this show is one of my faves.

Fanletter Please! (slice of life/ romance) A sick child writes fan letters to her favorite star, an actress who for kdrama reasons is afraid of fan letters. This was a super sweet, short drama - I really liked it so much!

Touch Your Heart (rom/com) A sweet, silly and very mild rom com about a serious boss and his hallyu star secretary. This show was an obvious response to the chemistry that Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na had in Goblin so it was nice to see them together again. Yoo In Na is such a fun person to watch!

Shopping King Louie (romcom): Ridiculously fun and lighthearted romp following a spoiled and useless chaebol with amnesia who is being taken care of by a country bumpkin in the city. Very low stakes, super adorable couple, and as many tropes as you can fit in your bag, this one is one of my favorites to recommend.

Wok of Love (rom/com) Despite the fact that the show was shortened by two episodes because of sports, this drama is a funny and quirky show worth watching. Many people dropped it because it was SO crazy for the first couple of episodes (it has a talking horse people!), but it does settle into a really sweet and fun story about a chef, a gangster and a rich girl and her family. If you love food, this show is for YOU!

A man who has it all, from acting skills to natural charm, Lee Soo Hyuk debuted as a model who walked down in different fashion runways. He has also done many magazine shoots from covers to features such as GQ, Bazaar, Elle, and more. He also appeared in 2NE1's music video "It Hurts" and later expanded his acting career wherein he played different secondary roles in both Korean movies and series.

Since then, Lee Soo Hyuk has been known and loved for his personality and sensuous image. He started from the movie "Ipanema Boy". He later on strengthened his career as an actor through playing different roles in the dramas "The King of High School," "Reasonable Love," 'Night Walks, "Town Hero," "Lucky Romance," "Sweet Stranger and Me" and more.

His latest drama was "Born Again," where he worked with actors Jang Ki Yong and Jin Se Yun. However, the actor gained widespread recognition after his impressive portrayal as Cha Hyeong Bin, a detective in the past and a prosecutor in his present, in the KBS2 drama "Born Again," which aired last April. It was a mystery melodrama that tells the story of three people whose destinies were intertwined in their past lives during the 1980s, and they happen to meet again in the present day.

Now, Lee Soo Hyuk is making a comeback with a new web drama titled "Handmade Love." Be ready to get your hearts captured once again by his unbeatable charm! The upcoming series will be a romance-fantasy drama that will deal with a Woven, who has come down to earth to heal people with their sorrows and emotions through the use of his handmade clothes.

The tailored man will be Lee Soo Hyuk's character, the head of the tailor shop "Handmade Love." A Woven is a vampire-like creature with a cold impression and a strong personality. His appearance will be mysterious. He was also thrown out from heaven due to stealing clothes and went down to earth for a mission - to heal the hearts and give warmth to the people with clothes made by him with love.

With his strong features and breathtaking charisma, the 32-year-old actor will be playing a role that will make his physical features be more noticeable, from the fashionable suits that have yet to be unveiled in the drama.

"Handmade Love" is directed and penned by Ko Jae Hong. This drama is a collaboration of fashion company "Handsome" and CJ ENM. You can follow and see more of Lee Soo Hyuk's updates through his Instagram account @leesoohyuk .

Secret Royal Inspector and Joy: I love Kim Hye-yoon and Taecyeon being their silly selves while still delivering strongly on the more emotional beats. Please make them pretend to be husband and wife at every village!

Now We Are Breaking Up - Did he seriously hook up with his dead brother's girlfriend without telling her he's dead and knowing she still cares for him?! And how does she NOT know he's dead! Shouldn't she worry and figure out what happened not automatically assume she's been ghosted?

Somebody on Reddit pointed out how her not knowing would only make sense in a story from the 50s like An Affair to Remember - they promise to meet at one place and if the other doesn't turn up you think it's over ?

Secret Royal Inspector: The little scenes before the show begins are hilarious. The one in episode 3 made me laugh out loud, especially when she did her boxer shuffle. The show continues to be hilarious, Taec is in his element with the wild faces he makes. This drama is so much fun.

Chimera: continues to be fine. Nothing special about it. It seems our detective and doctor are brothers. The mother conveniently has amnesia so that reunion will be melodramatic. I still enjoy it enough to keep watching.

We've seen lots of K-dramas that have a big budget for big special effects in the first episode or two, then have to rely on more traditional storytelling after that. Lovers of the Red Sky comes to mind.

I started with Breaking Now because I thought it would be a fast drop. Colour me surprised when I actually reasonably liked the first episode. Jang Ki Young exceeded my expectations (which admittedly were not too high ?) and I liked him as the professional photographer (with a sharper/rougher vibe than JKY usually lately gives). Song Hye Kyo is a bit blendish, but I am willing to stay and see where the story is heading to.

Melancholia on the other hand fared worse than I expected (the overdramatic beginning nearly stopped me watching). Also, as a former mathematician I now see why doctors usually don't watch shows about doctors... and lawyers about lawyers ? Still, there is Lee Dohyun who may keep me watching.

Fall in Love - oh boy, was I sooo wrong with my expectations about this show! I was prepared for an epic story during the Republic era... but this... this is F4... in uniforms!! ? (well, more precisely F1 vs F3) The show has a flavour of a daily with the standard ridiculous plot and logic out of the house. I will very likely drop it soon, but so far it is serving well as a mindless nightcap.

Ok, here are some of my issues, though don't let yourself to be disheartened if you like the show, I guess it is just similar to doctors cringing when watching emergency treatment of pneumothorax ?:

The icebear logical riddle is like the basic riddle one meets when interested in logic and math. I highly doubt Seungyoo has never heard of it. I can imagine placing it on a math forum for kids, but not for (young) adults. (I read R.M.Smullyan's book: What Is the Name of This Book? when I was 8 or 10.)

This one is perhaps minor as I'm not familiar with the Korean system, but... In my special math class at high school we definitely had it about axioms and assumptions and thinking outside the box, we studied for example Lobachevskian geometry (in the drama they mentioned it under Jnos Bolyai who postulated it around the same time as Lobachevsky, but if I remember correctly, Lobachevsky was first).

ASHES - always becomes spicy - England and Australia media tries hard to hype it up as well as push the Other team in difficult position. Cricket in the stadium and mental games outside. Excited for it.

Happiness - 6.5/10 - This is the kind of love story i like - Where so much is visible and everything is so simple. I like the couple.

Story is as usual - don't ask anything and just keep on watching whatever - characters are doing what usually characters do in this type of scenarios.

Don't Let Go of My Hands - 3/10 - Well to turkish dramas even Chinese dramas look good.

Heroine losses her father, then roof, then it starts raining and then losses brother and that's just for 1 episode. yeah.

This is not how you make sure heroine gets sympathy of audience. There are so many annoying scenes, moments and events that just frustrate you. Characters act childish and as a fool a bit too much. 152ee80cbc
