Hand In Hand Community CIC is a community-led organisation supporting families, particularly within Afro-Caribbean communities to build safe, nurturing homes and help children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
As we grow, we are inviting volunteers who share our values and want to be part of something meaningful in our community.
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need formal qualifications to volunteer with us. We welcome:
Parents and carers with lived experience
Community members passionate about children and families
Students or professionals interested in social care, education, youth work, wellbeing, community development or personal development
People who want to give back and make a difference locally
Volunteer opportunities may include:
Supporting family and parenting programmes
Helping with children and youth activities
Community outreach and engagement
Administrative or organisational support
Events, workshops, and group sessions
Communications, social media, or fundraising support
(Training and guidance will be provided.)
