Mentors will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of beginning teachers. Each mentor will support up to 4, K-12 teachers working within the state of Minnesota. In addition, mentors will provide opportunities for professional growth in a collegial, non-judgmental environment through encouragement and guidance to teachers.
Mentors are responsible to:
Hosting a 1:1 Meeting with your Mentees for 30 minutes each month
Hosting a small group meeting with all of your Mentee for approximately 60 minutes each month
Mentors will complete post meeting reflection log
Providing monthly feedback/brief report to Mentoring & Induction Program Administrator
Participate in the annual Urban Educator Leadership Summit
