Joining an association committee offers numerous benefits for both the individual and the organization. It allows members to develop leadership skills, network with peers, contribute to the association's mission, and enhance their professional development. For the association, committees are crucial for driving strategy, implementing initiatives, and fostering a sense of community among members.
OUR COMMITTEES:
Board Watch - Coordinate teachers to be at the meetings.
Communications - Share the Newsletter, Social Media, and Website.
Constitution and Bylaws - Review and update as needed.
Educational Support Staff - Work with other ESP members to support each other and organize around issues.
Elections - Run the elections for officers and Representative Assemblies - NEA and TEA.
Exceptional Education - Work with other EXED members to support each other and organize around issues.
Membership - Assist with recruitment and support.
Professional Development - Provide development opportunities for our members.
