Traffic Engineering

We investigated Internet routing instability caused by interdomain traffic engineering, established a set of practical guidelines to guarantee stability even without global coordination.

We designed intradomain traffic engineering algorithm optimizing for common traffic patterns as well as providing a worst-case guarantee for unexpected traffic patterns; demonstrated that it out-performed existing algorithms using real Internet traces and topologies.
