Wakatoshi Ushijima (Japanese: 牛島うしじま 若利わかとし Ushijima Wakatoshi) is a third year student at Shiratorizawa Academy. He is the captain of the boys' volleyball team. He plays as a wing spiker and is the team's ace. He was the number one ace in Miyagi Prefecture and ranked among the country's top three aces. He is the main antagonist of the second half of the Spring High Preliminary Arc.

Satori Tendō (Japanese: 天童てんどう 覚さとり Tendō Satori) was a third-year student at Shiratorizawa Academy and one of the volleyball team's middle blockers. He was often referred to as the Guess Monster (Japanese: ゲスモンスターげすもんすたー Gesu Monsutā) by other teams.

Tsutomu Goshiki (Japanese: 五色ごしき 工つとむ Goshiki Tsutomu) is a first year student at Shiratorizawa Academy. He is the only first-year to play as a starting regular on the volleyball team as a wing spiker and is acknowledged as the teams up-and-coming ace.

Kenjirō Shirabu (Japanese: 白布しらぶ 賢二郎けんじろう Shirabu Kenjirō) is a second-year student attending Shiratorizawa Academy. He plays on the boys' volleyball team as the starting setter.

Reon Ōhira (Japanese: 大平おおひら 獅音れおん Ōhira Reon) was a third-year student at Shiratorizawa Academy. He played as a wing spiker and vice captain of the boys volleyball team.

Eita Semi (Japanese: 瀬見せみ 英太えいた Semi Eita) was a third-year student at Shiratorizawa Academy. He was a setter and pinch server for the boys' volleyball team.

Hayato Yamagata (Japanese: 山形やまがた 隼人はやと Yamagata Hayato) was a third-year libero attending Shiratorizawa Academy.

Taichi Kawanishi (Japanese: 川西かわにし 太一たいち Kawanishi Taichi) was a second year middle blocker in Shiratorizawa Academy.
