Around the world pollinator populations are decreasing. One reason that this is happening is because invasive plant species are taking over many native species. Native pollinators eat and live in native plants, so when invasive species take over the pollinators suffer. Our project removed many of the invasive plants that had taken hold in the ornamental garden that decorated the Hadley School. We replace the invasive plants with a number of native plants to create a space that wasn't just pretty, but supports native pollinators.
