Mission
Our work is aimed at fostering the design and implementation of community programs with a productive focus, based on participatory planning by beneficiaries, social revitalization, and the conservation of natural and cultural resources. The organization has been running programs for fifteen years dedicated to conserving natural resources and generating measures to improve, restore, or rehabilitate elements and processes of the natural environment that have been degraded by activities incompatible with their intrinsic purpose. Our experience focuses on installing solar benches, agroforestry systems for the protection of tropical rainforests, and the dissemination of adaptable technologies.
To fulfill our programs, we work on empowering each inhabitant, which involves providing tools and influence for change and for improving their current living conditions. Thus, commitment to the environment and to collective issues is established as a shared value, a community bond that is no longer the sole responsibility of external agents but instead strengthens the principle of communal co-responsibility, where children, youth, adults, and the elderly actively participate in solving the problems affecting the community.

Current Projects
We have a community nursery of 120 square meters in Maiquetía, La Guaira State, Venezuela. It is for the recovery of native species of the northern slope of the Waraira Repano Park, in order to provide plant material for the reforestation of areas degraded by agricultural activities and fires. A member of the Association inherited the remains of an old coffee plantation on the northern slope of Waraira Repano Park. We use the space for environmental awareness. The trees closest to the old house have been identified with wooden signs. We have created a small arboretum.
With our work in environmental education and reforestation, we hope to protect 360 acres of unique landscapes in the Cordillera de la Costa.

We have an interdisciplinary team to attend to our areas of work. The seriousness and consistency of our projects has been recognized by prestigious donors such as United States Agency for International Development(USAID), Inter-American Agency for Development Cooperation, Embassy of Canada, England, Finland and international media such as the BBC of London, El Tiempo newspaper (Venezuela), Green Energy TV, scientific magazines, TVES, Sonríe Contigo and others. The educational aspects are complemented by community work for subsistence farmers, with incomes between $2 to $5 per day and even less. For this, we have the recognition of the Directorate of Biological Diversity of the Ministry of People's Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC) and the National Park Institute (INPARQUES) , Mama Pacha State Nursery and Municipal Institute of the Environment.
