Description

sir shadows of darkness himself. he stays in the shade but acts like that person that is done with everyone's shenanigans. he's basically one of the impulse controls of the guardianship. he hangs out with the other emos and goths and just chill and talk while listening to rock and metal music together. 

had dated Minnia 35 for 1 1/2 years. the two first met when entering the guardianship at the same time. after talking and hate flirting, they decided to get together. Shade just wanted things to be mostly platonic and make out only in private, but Minnia wanted to have fun and push to take things further than what shade wanted. the two broke up after a fight of Minnia wanting too much and shade being killjoy and shade wanting too little and Minnia's jobs on missions. 

he is platonically dating Gaven 61. after Shade had his break up, Gaven comforted him and the two just chilled and enjoyed each other's company. after gaven helped him, the two slowly became something with the two comforting each other when something bad happened. they didn't saying anything about it, but its been obvious that there's something happening but everyone just lets it happen.

Backstory

the Lord of Darkness himself. He spawned in a realm of darkness that does everything it can to snuff out light and embrace the shadows, a medieval kingdom of modern time yet knights of the shadows roam and guard the lands and villages in its illuminating terrain. Shade was founded by the knights and was trained in his psychic darkness to manifest weapons, creatures, consume lands at the wave of his hands, and protect the lands as the right hand knight at age 10 to the general knight. One day at age 14, Shade was roaming a village for patrol as he spots a light in an alleyway and investigates it. Using his shadows to snuff any light that comes at him, a blast of light snipes at his face and blinds him with rays of light fighting his shadows. A bright light engulfs Shade to snuff his shadows with a hooded figure walking towards him as questions him, questions about seeing something other than darkness, something more or spreading darkness even further but with harmony of light. Shade attempts to create a shadow weapon, but the figure controls his shadows instead as it flies through the light without hassle or dissipation at all. Shade watches as the shadow becomes a tangible shadow rose as the figure says they have a day to decide on joining them. The figure vanishes with the light leaving Shade to question the decision. The next day as Shade wakes up, the kingdom is acting normal, until the nation of light attacks as they fight with light and magic against the kingdom of darkness. Shade makes it to the front lines as the light pierces into the knights’ bodies, Shade blocks with his shadows and fires back, but he can’t help but worry for his comrades as they are slain during battle. Everything was looking grim, until the hooded figure appears again and shines both light and darkness at both sides, light to the darkness and darkness to the light. Shade knew who this was as he saw his comrades healed while the light army was detained. The hooded figure reveals themselves to be lifehacker as they walk towards Shade and offers a hand, “ready to join? Or shall light and darkness keep fighting instead of becoming in harmony?” Shade was amazed and wanted to learn more on how to strengthen his shadows. The kingdom bids Shade goodbye as Shade enters the guardianship and starts his training. While starting out, he had met Minnia 35 who was flirting around until she stopped at him, and the two hated each other. Minnia and Shade fought a lot as Shade was focused with Minnia one-upping him every time. Eventually the tension was rising with how obsessed they were with their talks and hate flirts until they decided to a mutual hate date and went out with each other. They fought, made out, and repeated until boundaries were pushed and caused them to break up finally. On the day of the break up, Shade barges in the room with his shadow destroying things in its wake, Shade grabs some coffee with extra strength and bitterness as he glares around with an intense stare and drinks. Gaven was there and saw how frustrated Shade was and decided to comfort him. The two talked as Gaven comforted him and soon became something more platonic and close as they became roommates and platonically dated after time had passed. Ever since, Shade enjoyed his time while chilling in the darkness with Gaven and the other goths and emos while using his shadows to stop a few shenanigans here and there, especially Minnia’s.
