The psychic ability to manipulate or control water.

Description

psychic Poseidon himself. he is usually training in areas of water to master his psychic abilities, otherwise he "likes" to hang around Ky 39 when he can. he extremely hates Ray 65 for what he did to Ky and makes sure Ky is safe from Ray and his shenanigan's. he meditates with Benethen 74 and Kasei 57 with him being his wingman as they train each others skills. when not training, he likes reading fantasy books, especially magicians.

he is a member of Super Intense Malicious Protectors (S.I.M.P.). Kai does battlefield damages with floods, water slicing through thick materials, snipe shooting water bullets, drowning until passed out, water weapons, and more ways to utilize water for his combat and to boost his squad with support. he carries a hidden canteen of water just in case for emergencies. he's a simp for Ky 39 but Ky rather be friends than being more after finding out about Ray's partners. Kai is busy fighting Ray 65 and protecting Ky from Ray to make progress of advancing out of the friendzone. Kai respects Ky's decision but he still wishes the two could be more and is waiting for his chance to get further than where he is, if only Ray didn't get in the way all the time.

Backstory

The psychic Poseidon himself. He grew up on the coast of a pacific islanders who lived on ancient grounds left by ancient water deities. Everything of the culture and people held something of the sea; seashells, shark teeth, coral, creature shells, certain fish skeletons, aquatic rocks, sandstones, etc. Once Kai popped into existence, he spawned as a baby in a giant shell as the nature of the ocean crashed waves to make Kai float to shore of the islanders. The island people found Kai as a baby who was pale like a pearl but hair that was fin-like and eyes sharp like a shark’s. The people heard of a prophecy that a child of the great oceans shall be delivered with a ferocious wave and be the gift from the pearl shark deity. Kai was raised by the people as he was treated like a child of the gods; gifted things on his birthday with honor and high quality, given a shell crown with a big crab shell for the ring-band, learning traditional dances as he soon learns of his psychic powers while doing one. People go to Kai to control the waters of the sea for anything; still the waters for travel, make it crash into each other to fight invaders, part the sea to collect the items of the sea bed. Kai enjoyed his life, but stayed humble as he saw how the aquatic life thrived, how the people of the island relied on the sea for many things in a circle of life, learning the prophecies and times of the sea deities and his role of being the pearl shark child. Kai wanted to bring honor and stayed humbled as he controlled his psychic powers and helped around as much as possible to live up to the expectations. Kai had lived for 8 years as he quickly helped modernized and utilized the water and the city ruins to make water roads for canals and boat travel, water fields for crops to grow without manual watering and harvesting once ready to lessen the labor, ways to get spring and clearer water for drinking and bathing as Kai terraformed the pathways for better water. He had transformed the entire island into an above surface Atlantic, as Kai lived and ruled the island as the prince prophet he was raised as. But soon the waves were restless as everything seemed to crumble slowly, the land was becoming a drought as the islanders head to the save haven, Kai was ready to fight whatever darkness was coming for him and his people… but all that changed when the whole dimension collapsed as Kai tried to shield himself from the blast with water and got scratched on his shoulder and chest to his back. Once waking up in the med bay with the 70s, he tried to get back to his people… but Lifehacker and the Aces stated that there was nothing left to salvage, everything was lost… Kai felt like he betrayed his people by leaving them behind to be erased, his friends, his people, the culture and land he grow up in… all gone and lost forever… Kai vowed to never let the people he cared about suffer ever again… Kai stayed at the Newbie Training Grounds, Training with his water to be even stronger and being resourceful with water bottles, making friends with Kasei 57 and Bon 55 as they learned to control their abilities together, and soon… met Ray and hated the clown with all his guts… Kai heard and saw how Ray acted and hated how destructive, manipulative, and unserious Ray was. Kai kept a close eye on Ray as they ran into each other with glares and brutal comebacks when talking… then came the day Ky 39 came into the guardianship once Kai hit 10 years old… Ky was acting all happy and bold with her magic being shown off while she made friends with people like Midori 59 and Vee 5. Ky soon met Kai and the two slowly became friends with being spar partners and bunk bed buddies. Kai and Ky hanged out while reading fantasy for Magic inspiration for Ky and Kai loving fantasy books, the two headed to the party house and danced a night with leaving Kai tired from trying to keep up with Ky, the two going on a test mission to test their skills with retrieving a magic item… Kai grew to care for Ky more and more, as he slowly and secretly saw Ky as more than a friend but he tried to deny it for her… Until Ky started to hang out with Ray and saw how Ray was acting all sweet, playful, and not the dangerous jester Ray was… Kai’s anger slowly grew as he saw how Ray flirted with Ky and fear that… Ky was gonna be used as a fling for Ray’s entertainment and leave her heartbroken… Kai didn’t want Ky to suffer as he collected Ray’s list of lovers, one shot flings, and crushes/admirers who had a chance at Ray, along with a list of Ray’s crimes… Kai knew this would hurt Ky, but he couldn’t stand by and let Ky get hurt later on… one night after Ky went on a date with Ray, being all giddy and blushing in hope for something… Kai came in and sat on her bed part with a serious tone and expression. The atmosphere was cold and quiet as Kai said he had something to talk with Ky, something that might hurt her feelings, with Ky growing nervous and tried to think this was a joke. Kai insisted that this wasn’t a joke, as he gave Ky the list about Ray for her to read and see Ray’s past and colors… Kai saw how Ky was spiralling into despair and heartbreak, as she began to cry as her heart shattered and she kept trying to deny the reality… Kai put a hand on Ky’s back to comfort her, saying he knows how hard this must be, but he couldn’t stay by and let someone he cared about so dearly get hurt by something so fake… Ky cried so messy and broken as she clung to Kai in a tight hug, Kai held her the whole night to make sure she wasn’t alone… later on, Ray try to get close to Ky but she created distance between them as the incident happened. Ray kept trying to talk to Ky but Kai stood in the way to protect Ky as Kai told Ray to leave before he hurts her more than he already has. Kai fought Ray as the two fought with flooding waves, magic cards and ribbons, and almost destroying the cement home… if Ky didn’t use all her cards and stop the two with a smack to both boys… Kai saw the diamond shield he was in and looked at Ky who summoned them away from the wreckage for a talk. Ky apologised to Ray and scolds Kai for almost destroying the grounds after protecting her. The incident placed Ray in the Reform Home and as Kai was to be processed finally to the Elemental Fields for his display of water control and how Kai managed to stand against Ray’s destructive mischief magic… Before Kai was to be heading to his new home, a celebration was held for Kai as everyone was amazed by his powers… in the midst of the party in the night, Ky left to head elsewhere, with Kai trailing behind out of concern and curiosity. Ky headed through the woods to a majestic massive pond of sea blue to aquamarine tones, she sat down with her legs to her chest and contemplated. Kai came in to check on Ky as he sat next to her, he asked if Ky was alright. Ky talked about her time within the year and a half, how she met the friends she made, planning on making her own squad once she got her home, how she almost thought she found love… but only to be fooled for such a betrayal… She feared about Kai liking her more than a friend as she remembered his words that night when he gave the list. Kai confirmed her suspicions and said that he had slowly accumulated feelings for her that were more than a friend. Ky knew it as she talked about their relationship, asking Kai to stay friends still as she just wasn’t ready for a relationship yet… let alone picking a side if Ray were to ever redeem and prove to be better, still clinging to hope that Ray was actually genuine for her… Kai’s heart ached at being friendzoned, but respected and understood Ky’s decision as he accepted the friendship but still vowed to protect her even moving into separate homes… as time passed, Ky got moved to the Overboard Troublemakers for her safety and magic skills she boast too often as Kai moved to the Elemental Fields for his skills and connection with water… One day as Kai and Kasei were done training and Kai had to fight Ray off Ky once more, the two went to Home I7I, The Tavern Restaurant, as the boys got water for Kai and Lime soda for Kasei. Kasei got himself sugar-high drunk while Kai just sat at the bar with his glass of water contemplating his feelings for Ky and his rage towards Ray, until a diamond fellow came up with two root beer mugs for them to drink. It was Travis, he sat next to Kai with a smile and complimented Kai’s skills and loyalty to those he cares about. Kai sensed Travis came for something of him as he took the root beer mug and talked with Travis. Travis heard Kai got friendzoned and offered a position on his squad he’s making for Kai to continue protecting Ky and to not be alone in his unrequited feelings. Kai looked at his glass, contemplating about his feelings for Ky, how he wanted to get stronger and prove to Ky that he can be loyal to her, never hurt her, never betray her heart. Kai accepts Travis’s deal with Kai becoming a member of S.I.M.P., becoming brotherly with Bon and soon Travis for the two of them having crushes for Overboard Troublemakers. Kai vowed to protect his new home, his new family and friends, and his found love with Ky. Kai now meditates and trains to be stronger to honor the people of the past he lost and to the new people he has found as the deity prince he grew up as.
