Combat type - Magic

his magic manifested around his infant age. due to his Ex father, who found him when he was a baby but didn't care nor believe for magic, but extremely and Brutally taught Mag about science. his father tried to treat him of the magic and study it which caused mag to slack on magic skills. once in exile with Jax and LIl, mag got to practice his magic from nonfiction books and comics that jax scavenged. he learned healing, levitation, and transfiguration spells but transfiguration mostly does candy. once in the guardianship, he's been training with Ky 39 to catch up on magic spells and skills. he's due for cram schooling for teleportation magic but is advance for healing magic for his age.

 Description

The cautious one who makes sure Jax and LIl don’t kill themselves from what they do. he Can’t control his magic besides from doing converting things, creating candy entities, and act as the healer of MEF. slowly being plaque by his magic for magic overload for too much use of magic. 

he has a head start on intellect but not compared to Lil's. mag trains with the magic users in Home X0 but mainly Ky 39 for having a wand and being a rounded magician. mag is very cautious of the Girly shippers with how they act and tries to avoid them while figuring out relationships in general, especially getting an admirer after him.

on rare occasions, he hangs with Tacky with her talking about past adventures of hers and hangs with Ember the fire as she gives advice on how to deal with his magic overload and his anxious feelings.

landed in Home x0 upon recruitment.

He hates and is cautious of Ein. Mag was a part of the genius's recruitment but once Ein joined Home X0, The Overboard troublemakers, Mag has always been more cautious and skeptical of EIn as no one believes Mag of saying "Ein is dangerous." Only Mag can face Ein alone.

Backstory

one third of the Magical Experimental Freaks.

Mag lived with a man of science who didn’t believe in magic. Mag knew he had some kind of magical powers but his father didn’t believe him and only informatively tortured Mag with science. Mag became cautious from the methods his dad’s been taking to treat mag and his magic and educate him in the process. 

The three were found as babies or toddlers by their respected parents and grew up with said stories until one fateful day that changed their lives. The three happen to stumble into the same forest; Jax ditching their parents, Mag dropped in the woods to learn about nature first hand, and Lil helping his mother finding herbs. Jax finds a place to settle down, Mag starts running towards Jax's area, and Lil wanders towards the area as well while picking herbs and plants. 

Jax: finally away from those two.

Mag: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Jax: hm!

Mag: (pops out of the bushes and starts running towards jax) WATCH OUT! 

The two collide. Jax gets up and wonders what happened. Mag dazed, gets frightened and starts trying to run again. Jax grabs mag by the suit before he could escape.

Jax: Hey calm down dude! What's the problem?

Mag: MUST NOT TALK TO STRANGERS! MUST FIND FATHER!

Jax: (spins him face to face and grabs a hold on him) hey it's ok. The name’s Jax, and I'll help you find your dad and everything will be fine ok. 

Mag: how can I trust you! We just met and- and-

Jax: Hey, it's fine. I'm not gonna hurt you. Otherwise I would have done that by now.

Mag: I guess you're right, But what if you're lying?

Jax: Dude I'm your only chance at getting out safely whether you like it or not. So suck it up and chill.

Mag: Technically I can’t freeze (jax slaps mag in the face)

Jax: Here's your pain now, trust me!

Mag: ow! Ok. (holds his face)

As mag takes a chill pill, the two hear the bushes shuffle. Jax puts their fits up as mag curls up. Coming out of the bushes is Lil stumbling onto a few plants. Jax and mag both confused in their minds

Lil: Dandelions! Especially good for tea. (notices jax and mag) hm. Eep! (hides in the bushes)

Jax: What was that?

Mag: It looked like an alien, but that's impossible since aliens don’t exist.

Jax: Hey buddy who are you! I promise that we won’t hurt you! 

Lil: (pops out) it's Lil and you promise to not hurt me!

Jax: I won’t and he definitely won’t in his life.

Mag: Hey! But you are correct. 

Lil: Hello, I'm lil. I'm here to collect some herbs and spices to create remedies to heal me and my mother.

Mag: Shouldn’t you use actual vaccines since it will prevent them much faster and some diseases will still come through.

Lil: If only my mother would allow it, but she believes that they cause more harm than help. So the best I can do is making the medicine through alchemy means

Mag: Want to trade places, I just want a break from all the science and live a normal life.

Jax: then swap with me. My parents just want me to be normal when I rather fight and do some stunts. 

Lil: If only we could trade. 

Jax: Hey dudes I'm Jax and want to come back here again to hang out more.

Mag: I'll have to save its location in my locator.

Lil: I'll have to ask to go picking again.

Jax: Then I'll just ditch and meet you two here again soon.

The three met often to discuss about each other and their living conditions. Jax brings snacks for the two, mag brings devices for Lil to tinker and jax to test out, and Lil brings remedies for jax and mag to try out. 

Jax: No way it's magic. It's got to be some kind of super power.

Lil: Or possibly an energy surge.

Mag: It's got to be magic since I can do this. (creates a some grass into carpet) see

Jax: Wow! Yup that's magic. Sadly I only got brute strength

Lil: Strength is still something. I only got intelligence and my remedies. 

Mag: Well that means you can be an awesome healer or even support to enhance other features. 

Jax: Speaking of how it's coming along.

Lil: Hoverboard is done. This will give you more flight time and has rockets to boost speed.

Jax: Sweet! Let's try it out.

Jax speeds around the area doing all sorts of tricks and lands with ease.  Mag and Lil were amazed by it.

Jax: Now that was awesome!

Mag: Excellent! outstanding! stupendous!

Lil: Everything is working in their proper functioning systems. You can get across town much faster now. 

Jax: You guys want to check this out through town?

Lil: You mean to actually see town! 

Mag: But I've never been in town without my dad! What if we get lost or even worse?!

Jax: Look, just hang onto me and I'll pull us through town and back. No stops

Mag: Can we even get all of us on that. 

Jax: Watch it!

The three head into town, Jax surfing on the board with mag and Lil holding on to jax. Jax went through town showing all the places to mag and lil; the bakery, the library, even all the gas stations. Jax was smiling with joy as mag was hesitant at first but soon was amazed at the sights with Lil being able to see everything for the first time. They head back to the forest area to settle down.

Mag: That was awesome!

Lil: I know! I've never seen such places in my entire life! I want to visit all of them!

Jax: Why not? We can go back now if you want?

Mag: Well the fact we have me who can’t be seen without my father and Lil being seen in general as an alien is also out of the question.

Lil:(gets idea) Unless I can make a remedy to cover my skin and give you a makeover.

Jax: I can bring some clothes and you two can be in public without worry.

Mag: I have a bad feeling about this.

Jax: Hey, I'll take responsibility if anything happens to us. (reaches out there) Now are you in or not. Trust me that this will be awesome

Mag & Lil: (reaches and takes jax’s hand) ok

The three agreed to meet in the forest and dress up to go out around town. Jax brought a few of their clothes; mag looked like a boy who was a mage and Lil put on his remedy and looked like a normal boy. The three hover-boarded into town and headed to a main area of shopping. Jax snagged a couple of bucks to go shopping with mag and Lil and each one got an item; Jax got a toy gun, mag got a cat wand for his dad’s cat, and Lil got more trinkets and a headband with antennas. The three got their items and a few snacks and continued to adventure around town; they had fun at the arcade, ate at the bakery, and jammed out at party houses. The three giggled and laughed as they took in all the fun. The three decided to stop by the shopping area where a band was playing, creating their own side party.

Jax: Told you that this was awesome. 

Mag: Yeah I wish this can never end!

Lil: I believe it's to be said as "I wish this could never end!”

Jax: yeah, guess it's time to get you guys back before-

???: JAX!

Jax’s parents arrived at the scene with scrunch up faces ready to yell. Jax grabs the two before mag and Lil questions what's going on.

Mag: Jax are those your parents?

Lil: They don’t look anything like you.

J mom: yes we are, and Jax needs to get home now!

Jax: can’t it wait. I have to get these two back home and-

J dad:(grabs Jax by the arm) WERE GOING NOW!

Jax: (struggling to pull back) HEY GET OFF OF ME! I SAID I NEED TO GET THEM BACK HOME.

Jax struggles but fiercely rips out of their father’s grasp and falls against a hotdog stand and a balloon stand. When the two collide, it creates an explosion blasting jax back with a burn on their right side and a piece of metal launching at their face creating a scar over the burn. Jax crashes into the band that was playing, breaking bones, skin, and instruments. 

Mag & Lil: JAX!

Jax: I'm fine (gets up to show their face).

Mag: (runs towards jax) your face! Lil got any remedies that can help

Lil:(runs after) I don’t know if I got the necessary ingredients to help.

Mag: Maybe I can change them with my magic.

???: LIL! Is that you?!

Lil: uh oh! Mag hide me!

???: MAG!?

Lil’s mother and Mag's father came up to the scene in worry and frustration. 

Lil’s mom: LIL YOU SHOULDN’T BE OUTSIDE! WE MUST GET YOU BACK HOME! (grabs lil’s arms)

Mag’s dad: MAG I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU LIED TO ME! I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU WHAT BETRAYAL IS LIKE!

Mag: (struggles to break free) AH! SORRY! PLEASE DON’T HURT ME AGAIN! I WON’T DO IT AGAIN! PLEASE JUST DON’T TAKE ME AWAY FROM THEM! JAX! LIL! HELP!

Lil: (whimpers and tries the break free) please don’t take me back yet! I must help Jax before their burns and cuts get worse! They need my help! Please don’t take me back into hiding forever! 

MAG & Lil: PLEASE I DON’T WANT TO GO JUST YET! NOT WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE!

Jax: Hang… on… there… 

Jax climbs out of the rubble. Clenching their fists, gritting their bloody teeth, they scream from the top of their lungs

Jax: OVER MY DEAD BODY! THOSE DUDES ARE MY NOW AND IF YOU THINK I'M GONNA LET YOU TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME THEN YOU GOT ANOTHER THING COMING TO BOTH OF YOU CRACKHEADS! LET THEM GO!

Mag’s dad: Sorry but he’s my son and I get to do what I need to do for his education and life, and that includes friends and reckless knuckleheads that SHOULDN’T be near my son.

Mag: But their my-

Mag’s dad: SHUT IT! I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER WORD FROM YOU AFTER THIS BETRAYAL! 

Jax: LEAVE HIM ALONE!

Jax charges with their beaten body to help the two. Mag’s dad kicks Jax in the jaw, flinging them towards the floor. Skidding off skin, Jax gets back up and charges again. Jax’s parents grab Jax by the arms, trying to hold them down. Jax kept wrestling to break free from their parents as they screamed and yelled for Mag and Lil. Mag couldn’t believe his eyes, that despite Jax’s injuries, Jax was willing to risk their health for his safety. Mag’s eyes become a white glow and start creating a mass amount of energy that blasted his dad away from mag, but started to lose control. Mag’s magic started to blast at everything, transforming objects left and right and making everyone float. Mag cries out in an echo loud and thundering.

Mag: LET JAX GO NOW!

Mag’s voice blasted Jax’s parents off of Jax. Mag couldn’t stop and continued his reckoning. Mag’s magic had also harmed him as well, as mag’s sleeves ripped off and covered his arms in pink spots. Jax rushes towards Mag but gets blasted back towards another stand full of fireworks. Mag blasts again and right at lil’s mother. Lil jumped in front and took it instead. 

Jax: LIL! MAG STOP NOW!

Mag stares at Lil through his glow. Lil’s remedies started to have a reaction to the magic, bubbling and burning Lil’s skin. Lil’s mom rushed towards but tripped and spilt a remedy onto Lil’s legs causing more burns and pain in Lil. Lil screams in agony as Jax spots a bucket of water and throws it onto lil, washing off all the remedies. Lil could barely stand and collapsed. Jax catches Lil in their arms and is disgusted at the sight. Lil was covered in spots of black and red as a few had blood leaking out. Mag realizes what he has done as his eyes dim their glow. The magic within mag started to calm down and reverted everything back and released those who were caught in it. Mag falls towards his knees gasping for air from the amount of magic he unleashed. 

Mag: (breathing heavily) … Lil… I'm… I'm so sorry… (slowly gets up and limps over to jax and lil) please… please be ok… 

Jax: He’s still got a pulse. We need to get him help! 

Mag’s dad: Where do you think you’re going! He’s not going with you freaks!

Mag’s father grabs a raygun from his coat and aims at Jax and lil. 

Mag’s father: This is a new discovery of a lifetime and I MUST discover what it is!

Mag: Dad don’t! Their hurt and- (yelp in pain) AH!

Jax: Mag! Are you ok?!

Jax rushes towards mag and sees mag’s arms covered in pink blobs. Mag’s father fires the ray at Jax but dodges his barrages. Lil’s mom charges at mag’s father to grab the raygun. 

Mag’s father: What the-!

Lil: Don’t fire at them, especially my alien son Lil! He might be the last of his kind!

Lil: M-mom?

Mag: Jax what are we gonna do!?

Jax: Wait a minute? 

Mag’s father: an alien? Then he must be brought into science for examination and testing to see where he’s from!

Lil’s mom: No! He must be protected and so for your son who might not even be human but a mystical creature of some sort.

Mag’s father: you’re out of your mind if you think magic is real! Mag just has a new ability that humanity can evolve to and benefit us.

Jax: Now I see.

Mag: Jax are you listening!? 

Lil: (coughing) what is mom talking about?

Jax: I understand but I don’t think you want to know.

Mag’s father: THIS IS FOR SCIENCE! THEY MUST BE CONTAINED AND EXAMINED!

Lil’s mom: NO THEY ARE LIVING CREATURES THAT MUST BE PROTECTED BY YOU MADMANS.

Mag & Lil: huh?

Jax: I knew it. (points at mag’s father and lil’s mom) YOU DON’T ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEM DO YOU?! YOU ONLY SEE THEM AS ANIMALS TO EITHER USE FOR YOUR NEEDS OR BE CAGED AND NEVER BE FREE TO DO ANYTHING! LIL AND MAG ARE LIVING BEINGS LIKE A HUMAN LIKE ME AND YOU TWO CAN’T SEE THAT!

Jax’s father: MORE LIKE A FREAK THAN HUMAN!

Jax’s parents had faces of an enemy more than a loving parent. 

Jax’s mom: HOW COULD I EVER HAVE A FREAK FOR A SON!

Jax’s dad: WHY COULDN’T YOU JUST BE NORMAL HUH?! NOW LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE AND THE MISTAKES YOU’VE CREATED FOR EVERYONE! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!

Jax: LIKE YOU EVER CARED ABOUT ME! IF YOU WANTED A NEW KID THAN GO GET ONE BECAUSE I'M DONE BEING YOUR MAKE BELIEVE SON WHICH I'M NOT-!

Jax’s father grabs Mag's father’s raygun and blasts it at Jax's face, making the scar on Jax even more permanent than it had already been. 

Mag: JAX!

Jax: (grunts) I'm fine! We need to leave now!

Jax’s father: YOU FREAKS ARE DEAD! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULTS!

The town’s people started to agree with Jax's father, and soon the mob mentality kicked in.

Jax’s mom: IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU THREE, WE ALL BE A HAPPY FAMILY, A HAPPY TOWN THAT’S SAFE AND NOT A WRECK!

The town people grabbed items to beat the three with and started yelling and shouting insults and abusive words.

People: IT'S ALL YOUR FAULTS! YOU DID THIS! YOU THREE ARE GONNA PAY! GET THEM!

JAX: WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW!

Jax grabs Mag by the arm, carrying Lil in their arms, Jax pulls out the hover board and hops on to make their escape. As soon as Mag grabs onto Jax, Jax races around the crowd and grabs the raygun from their father and fires at the firework stand creating a big explosion. The three escape between the fire and smoke and head for the forest, not even stopping for a breath. They make it to their spot and crash into the carpet Mag created before. Jax breaking the two’s fall, they crash landed.

Jax: finally we’re safe… Lil… Mag… are you two… ok- (collapses with Lil)

Mag: JAX! Hey don’t leave me now! Lil you too please don’t! 

Mag grabs a hold of Jax and lil’s hands as he cries.

Mag: please don’t die on me for what I did… I'm sorry...

A tear falls onto the hand holding and creates a light that becomes a healing aura around the three. The cuts, burns, and even the broken bones were being erased off of them and put back together, well most of them. Lil and Jax wake up to Mag still crying. 

Jax: Hey… dude… what’s with the water works… who died this time…

Mag: (looks up from the crying) huh?

Lil: Are you hurt? Do you need some medicine done?

Mag: (hugs Lil and Jax in a bear hug) YOU GUYS ARE ALIVE!

Jax: Yeah I'm alive! What made you think I wasn’t!?

Lil: Mag must have healed us back to full health.

Mag: I thought I killed you guys and-

Jax: (punches Mag in the head) DON’T YOU DARE THINK LIKE THAT YOU HEAR ME! Nothing was your fault, if anything it was mine.

Mag: (pulls back) but I lost control and hurt lil.

Lil: I'm fine, but I can’t feel my lower legs very well.

Jax: Oh yeah my eye seems to be fine but I can still feel the scar. Sucker must have been tough to heal, but atleast I'm alive with you guys.

Mag: (cries even more) I'm so happy that you two are still alive.

Lil: Same goes for me… and you two better not blame each other. (tries to bonk Jax and Mag on the top of their heads but too weak) no one is at fault. What matters now is that we're alive and together.

Jax and Mag look at each other and agree with Lil. The three are still alive and together but know they can never leave the forest. They got nowhere to go and can’t go back to their families now knowing how they really feel; Jax’s parents never truly love Jax for who they are, Mag’s father only wanting to experiment on him and didn’t even care what happens, and Lil’s mother who only saw him as a creature that needed to be hidden and caged for safety. The three lay down on the carpet and stare at the sky which is now a night sky.

Jax: Whatever happens to us now, we’ll do it together and won’t leave each other.

Mag: That's for certain. I'm never leaving you two alone or myself alone.

Lil: There are no others that are perfect to be isolated with. I love you guys.

Mag & Jax: Same here.

Jax: (reaches up the sky) hey. Mag? Lil? Can I say something?

A silence of anticipation became of Mag and Lil. The two wonder what Jax might say.

Jax: I got a plan for us, and that is to stay in this forest but make it our secret base from the world. 

Mag: how will that work?

Jax: I will be the scavenger of the group. I'll go into town and grab all of our stuff and bring it to you two. The food we eat, the devices for Lil to tinker for us, and soap or whatever to clean ourselves. 

Lil: I would tinker devices you get?

Jax: yeah cause we're gonna need you to be the smart one in the group. Like an engineer or Scientist. I'll get you whatever chemicals or devices I can get for you and soon we’ll have technology soon enough to survive summer and winter.

Mag: What's my job?

Jax: We'll need you to be the mom of this place.

Mag: THE WHAT?

Lil: I don’t get it

Jax: Mag you’ll be teaching Lil stuff while I collect items like books for Lil to read and you as well.

Mag: Why and how does that make me the mom again?

Jax: because Lil only knows so much about science and I'll get you fantasy books for you to possibly learn how to control your magic better. And being a mom makes you responsible for our safety and know what's best for us.

Mag & Lil: oh!

Jax: and Mag you’ll also be the healer since you can heal us now. Alongside of you making sure we don’t kill ourselves in the process.

Mag: It's still new but I'll make it my main magic spell. But wait, we still need a place instead of laying on this carpet.

Jax: I got a plan for that too. Just help me with it ok mag.

Mag: ok?!

Jax finds a small tree and places it in the middle of the carpet. Mag grabs the cat wand from earlier and points it towards the twig of a tree and uses his magic. His magic transformed the tree into a candy tree with cotton candy leaves and a five layer candy body. The three amazed with the sight agree that this is their new home that they want. 

Jax: This is awesome! (notices mag doing something) hey what you doing?

Mag: (pouring sugar salt) I got this at the church we passed by and turned it into a barrier for the tree so no animals or creatures can come in and harm us.

Jax: ain’t that paranoid?

Mag: ain’t I the healer?

Jax: touché. Now let's get some sleep M.E.F.

Mag & Lil: M.E.F?

Jax: the new name I thought of for us. (points to mag) Magical. (points to lil) Experimental. (points to themselves) Freaks!

Mag & Lil: (looks at each other then back to Jax) it's perfect for us!

Jax: yeah it is!

The three lived there for a long time; Jax scavenging for Lil, Lil tinkering for their survival, and mag making sure the two stay alive and are educated while being at the tree. They’ve built their tree house and platforms, Lil created their legs when gathering the right materials, and Mag and Jax got bandaged up. Jax became the fatherly big sibling, Mag the motherly middle child, and Lil the baby brother of the group. With their talents they’ve lived in harmony. After a month of hiding and scavenging,  Jax grabbed some pop bottles and made a toast with Mag and Lil yelling loud and proud.
