The New Horizons on Nanostructured Magnetic Materials (H-MAG) workshop series, sponsored by the Nanostructured Magnetic Materials Laboratory (nM2-Lab) promises to be a dynamic biannual event set to explore and advance the field of nanostructured magnetic materials. Each year, the workshop will focus on a different cutting-edge topic, attracting academic scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to share their experiences and the latest achievements and challenges in modeling, fabrication, and characterization of nanostructured magnetic materials, devices, and systems. The H-MAG workshop aspires to become a hallmark in the field of nanostructured magnetic materials. The Workshop will be hosted in Iglesias, a historical city in the south-western corner of Sardegna (Italy), rich in cultural attractions, centuries-old traditions and natural beauties punctuating the territory.
In its inaugural year, the H-MAG 2024 workshop will be held as a satellite event of the ICM24 Conference and will kick off with the theme Magnetic Particles: From Bottom-Up to Top-Down Approaches. The workshop is designed to stimulate the discussion on strategies, properties and applications of magnetic particles, obtained by using both bottom-up and top-down fabrication processes.
H-MAG 2024 will be organized by the Nanostructured Magnetic Materials Laboratory (nM2-Lab) of CNR-ISM (Roma, Italy) and Un. Genova - DCCI (Genova, Italy) and will last 3 days (June 27th - 29th, 2024).
The program will feature invited talks given by distinguished researchers, selected contributions and flash presentations from early-career researchers. This ensures that the program encompasses insights from established experts in the field while also providing a platform for emerging talent to showcase their valuable contributions.
