History of our Program

Give Yourself Credit was developed in 2005 as a community collaborative of local agencies that wanted to make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth in Guelph and Wellington. Give Yourself Credit, operating since 2006, has strived to meet needs of Guelph Wellington youth.

GYC exists to empower youth to achieve growth and gain stability as they accomplish educational goals within a supportive environment. This wholistic model creates a space where youth who struggle to find their place or path in mainstream schools can experience success as they work towards their personal goals.
