Application Process

GYC accepts referrals year round from individuals, family members, and supports of youth. Our open referral process is as follows: 

1.   Referral – Contact giveyourselfcredit@michaelhouse.ca or fill out the confidential form to begin the referral process

2.   Interest meeting – Once a referral has been received, a time will be scheduled to meet the student and guardian (if applicable) to tour the space and learn about the program

3.   Intake meeting – If the youth is an interested candidate, and there is no waitlist, an intake meeting will be arranged to finalize enrollment 

4.   Two-week assessment phase – The first two weeks at GYC are important in determining if the program meets the student's needs. At the two-week mark, programming will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary
