In India there are Prayer Rooms because it is considered that god has created the whole universe including all the living beings and as a way to thank and remember god we have created a room dedicated to God separately. Another reason for this is to keep god in our home so that we can see him anytime.

Namasté is a way of giving respect and greeting. It can be used to greet anyone no matter a younger person or an elder person or a person of same age group as ours.
Namasté is done by joining both the palms keeping it on chest and bowing our head with saying Namasté

Tilak is an integral part of Indian culture and religion. It creates a feeling of religious faith in wearer as well as others. In Hindu religion many natural products are used to make tilaks such sandalwood (chandan), kumkum (a mixture of turmeric and slaked lime). The scientific reason behind wearing a tilak is that it moderates our mind so that we are able to focus on our work more attentively. The Tilak is applied at the point of acupuncture.
