Performing Arts

Performing arts is a form of art in which artists use their bodies or voices, often in relation to other objects, to convey artistic expression. It is different from visual arts, which is when artists use paint, canvas or various materials to create physical or static art object. Performing arts include several disciplines, each performed in front of a live audience.

Traditional thai performance is a combination of body movements which each gestures represents its own meaning and thai traditional music. The costumes has remained stunning and elaborate with gold and silver sequins. Sometimes designed fingernails and beetle wings are added to the costumes. The performance is not only for entertaining, but it is also, in fact, an excellent form of exercise, physical therapy and meditation.
