Jonathan Cole is husband to his beautiful wife Dana and father to his sons Jackson (3) and Thomas (1).

He is in his fourth year of being the Director at Gunn Junior High. He teaches all Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced choirs as well as leads the Musical rehearsals. He is enjoying teaching during the exciting time in the history of this building!

He is in his 6th year of teaching and has taught at both the High School and Junior High levels. Mr. Cole previously taught as the Assistant Choir Director at L.D. Bell High School in H.E.B. ISD as well as being an assistant at Nichols Junior High in Arlington, Texas before becoming Head Director here at Gunn Junior High.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Music from the University of Texas at Arlington. During this time, he was Vice President of the Student chapter of ACDA.

He enjoys spending time with his wife (who he met in choir at UT Arlington) and his sons. He is a huge fan of the Dallas Mavericks, he enjoys stories that are imapctful, and loves learning new things!
