Concert Treble Choir

The Concert Treble Choir is the top auditioned treble Choir at Gunn Academy. It is comprised of students mostly in their 3rd year of Choir, but is open to exceptional students in their second year who have demonstrated superior achievement. In this class, we practice advanced concepts of music reading, vocal technique, and choral musicianship. Mostly three-part literature is performed, moving well into advanced categories of UIL grade 3+ songs.

The Concert Treble Choir is one of the flagship performing groups at Gunn Junior High. Members of this Choir are expected to participate in contests such as Solo & Ensemble, All-City and All-Region. This Choir is expected to participate in additional concerts for the community.

Members of this Choir have shown exceptional GROWTH as vocalists and have demonstrated a sense of pride and commitment to the Choir program and to the School.
