Dr. Guillermo San Miguel is a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow (PCD-I3) in the School of Industrial Engineering (ETSII) at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry, an M.Sc. in Environmental Impact Assessment from University of Wales (Aberystwyth), and a Diploma of Imperial College (DIC) and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of London at Imperial College of London. He received a Ramón & Cajal fellowship and a I-3 award for research excellence in 2007 from the Spanish Ministry of Science. His research interests include Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental, economic and social analysis of products, services and organizations, carbon footprint analysis, renewable energies and waste management.

9/9/2019: Kickoff meeting of project on Sustainability assessment of internet, funded by Facebook Connectivity Laboratory
7/9/2019: just returned from Rhodes (Greece) where we have been actively involved in the organization of the CEST2019 Conference on Environmental Science and Technology and presented 4 technical papers (see publications)
