My name is Suman Lama Tamang. My home is village Thulopatal near Jiri (on the way to Everest Base Camp). I am a family and community person. I am married to my beautiful wife Songita and we have 3 children: two boys Sudip Lama and Bishesh Lama and a girl Isha Lama. My family lives in the village near Jiri and I have to commute between the center of Kathmandu and my village.

I am a mountain trekking guide with over 15 years of experience in trekking and Hve been working in hospitality industry since 1990s. Currently I am working as an independent self employed guide in Himalaya across Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and India (Sikkim, Darjeeling and Ladakh).

During the trek the wish of my customers is my priority. I always try my best to make my clients happy so that they have an unforgettable time in Himalaya. I keept long lasting relationships with some of my clients so that we became friends.
