Guidance4U will provide three tiers of support for high school students and families as they seek the best fit for post-secondary pursuits.
For some students, independently accessing well-produced resources, curated admissions information, and organized dates is what they need. Guidance4U will make these resources open access. The information provided here is available on university websites and can be discovered with some effort. As sites are accessed, many find that websites are often not very user-friendly, and that gathering information and adhering to dates from multiple universities is daunting. Guidance4U curates information from Canadian universities for high school students, simplifying the process and increasing accessibility. Video updates with primary information will be produced and made available on Guidance4U's site as well as our Youtube channel. With this availability, users may be funnelled into subscriptions as they recognize the value of what Guidance4U has to offer.
At the subscription level, students and their families access resources and content that is thoughtfully produced and begin to access Guidance4U in a more personalized experience.

Premium Access enables students to access the most direct and personal level of guidance counselling. With Premium Access, students will have the benefit of working directly with an experienced guidance counsellor.
Annual Meetings - Students and families schedule a session with a guidance counsellor to make plans, discuss developments, and set goals in a video call.
Personal Assessments - Students are encouraged to support provided assessments, and the results are studied together to help create career opportunity forecasts and link to post-secondary options.
Post-Secondary Exploration - Students explore programs and locations that may lead to potential careers.
High School Course Planning - Students with a guidance counsellor to produce a pathway to post-secondary application and admission.
Application Support - When the time comes, students can schedule time with a guidance counsellor to read over applications, edit and provide feedback for Personal Profiles and Statements, provide support in scholarship applications, and more.
By offering tiered levels of support and options for financial cost, Guidance4U can offer the level of support that students and families desire. The tiered systems also allows Guidance4U to maximize its presence in the market and funnel families who are accessing the open-source materials into Subscription or Premium Access.
