Mr. Christian A. Semeniano, RPm, LPT, RGC, together with other Registered Guidance Counselors from various HEIs in Bicol, attended an online meeting with CHED officials to explore Project GAYON (Guidance Assistance for the Youth Online), a digital platform developed by CHED Region V that provides mental health support to students across different institutions. This project aims to ensure that no student is left without support, in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
Values Education students from the College of Education of Bicol University visited the GCC on March 16, 2026, as part of their requirement to become familiar with basic guidance services. Mr. Christian A. Semeniano, the Guidance Counselor, oriented the students on the center’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Core Values and presented the various programs and services offered by the institution, in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.

Mr. Christian A. Semeniano, a permanent college instructor and guidance counselor-designate, passed the 2025 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination held on August 8, 2025, in various testing centers across the country, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena, and Rosales.
Mr. Semeniano served as the Program Chair of the Values Education Department and as Admission-in-Charge from 2023 to 2024. He is currently the adviser of the Guidance Advocates and Beneficent Ambassadors of Youth (GABAY) Organization, a role he has held since 2023.

The GCC, together with the GABAY Organization, facilitated PAGLAOM ’25: A Seniors’ Recollection on May 19, 2025, at Daraga Community College. With the theme “Encountering Christ Through and With Others,” the activity was a three-day, faith-based recollection program for graduating students. The recollection facilitators and moderators were from Mater Salutis Seminary, under the supervision of Rev. Fr. Andro Q. De Vera. This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Mr. Christian A. Semeniano, RPm, LPT, RGC, conducted an evaluation and exit interview with the fourth-year class presidents on April 16, 2025, at the Conference Hall. The activity aimed to assess the effectiveness of both academic and non-academic programs and services offered by the institution. In addition, the evaluation served as a tool to measure the level of satisfaction among graduating students regarding the support and services they received throughout their academic journey. Bicol University faculty researchers, in collaboration with ALCU-V, have embarked on a research project aimed at exploring the psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on teachers and students in Region V's universities and colleges on December 3, 2024, at Daraga Community College. With the help of GCC, the research team led by Project Head Dr. Hennie Pama-Lomibao, RGC, was able to gather more than 200 students and faculty members to take the psychological tests. This initiative responds to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
