My project story started from 2013, when Japan Engineer's denied / rejected to reveal the secret of "PAPER THICKNESS" calculations that displayed in their machine @ the time of machine erection in our company.
I started working to find solution formula for paper caliper and finally now I hold proof program files to compete our M/C programs on - paper caliper, rpm to diameter of reel, spider arm angle to diameter of reel and so on. After the success and understanding power of mathematics, I decided to explore this application in printing industry and continued my PRJ (project) journey as listed below;

This project Excel worksheet is a collection of formulas for Newsprint reel from Internet. Our collection is to bring Newsprint reel calculation under one window. We created real time calculators based on this worksheet and used in this blog for public access like ֍RPM to diameter of reel, ֍ Newsprint Press reel room calculator, ֍ Accuracy of GSM calculator, ֍ Paper thickness calculator ֍ Strip/Flat waste finder etc..
Balance reel weight can be calculate based on GSM and paper caliper in press room, which is accurate and this method is easy and convenient one for more click here.
Converting RPM of web feeding to diameter of reel data is our next module. This formula help us to measure diameter of NP reel in real time.
From series of collections we understood the pattern of NP reels that give performance based on caliper is identified.
Strip/Flat waste finder is believe to consider as excellent module form our side, were this is not in internet yet that calculate waste from damage reel before stripping them off.
Year 2014 is my milestone carrier, on designing In-house report that match with ICQC cuboid test report in excel worksheet. This project is to get instant test report on cuboid testing conducted by WAN-IFRA quality biennial competition. I studied the instructions and specification carefully and plotted data graph in worksheet with appropriate formula. And finally the performance was good, thus I successfully completed the project and carried out number of test with this file, still we are working to improve the standard of the worksheet to advance level.

Our In-house report
This Excel file was (Created by IFRA as input data entry for their online portal on 27/07/2011 and I modified worksheet last @ 23/01/2014 for offline testing full-fledged report) re-created as base / trial version and tested with samples for its working performance. I personally undertook lots of effort to upgrade this file and finally succeed in this process, continuous effort of 4 years brings such a good project that works offline to test cuboid IFRA target in easy way - for Quality checking ICQC competition.
This project is based on IFRA - ICQC report generated in their portal for online testing. .
This project work is based on Reel calculation PRJ01, Main concept of reel diameter to weight is used to complete this project with production report in advance level.
Documentation of production report based on diameter of reel to mileage calculation and cost of materials consumed in single worksheet,

By recording unwind pattern of RPM or diameter of a reel, that your machine display on production can be used to calculate paper caliper. When diameter of reel reduce RPM get increased, recording time frequency of reduction in diameter of reel helps to calculate paper thickness.

Project ink mileage as we started calculating SMG (sq. meter per gram) method we observed detailed information from small numbers that can be used as mileage data. Continued mileage calculation based on image value with small real time calculator, that help others to visual the process online.

Year 2017, I had opportunity to work for Non-Standard IFRA ICQC testing in our plant. As we had file already working with standard method and started project towards target - for testing Cat.4 Non-standard method for both Cold set and Heat set inks.
This project work is tested with us and used for cuboid testing conducted by WAN-IFRA quality biennial competition 2017-18.

Data visualization - this takes two years of study about our dataset and leaning BI analytic tools to create such AI visualization reports. The outcome of this project work is remarkable, I gathered knowledge on BI tools and basic environment work experience with Google Data studio/Looker, Power BI, Tableau and more over ETL process for data generating.
This experience helped me to develop AI data report project for our company in advance level. Simple upload of daily data to cloud dataset using ETL process and visualizing the out put in online application (device independent). At a time we can view daily report as well as monthly form any were at our convenance.
Adjusting our existing data set to handle more features and adapt maximum utilization of sources to explore the complete project goal. This upgraded AI report 32 pages monthly + 15 page daily works now effectively, this include advance feature related to NP reel balance sheet, Blanket life and more.. AI project has been categories into four sub divisions to streamline workflow and handle work flawlessly. I have been working form 2020 to 2024 with this project to upgrade my work to next level. In addition to this I designed DIAMETER based PRODUCTION report in daily PR specially designed for ;-
This AI program help to compute opening and closing balance reel weight automatically,
Include cost calculation also, on uploading diameter log of every printing
Program convert actual copies into square meter and help to monitor/compute actual GSM and paper thickness.
This fourth Phase is our final stage of DB AI data analytic program.
We carried out full-fledged modification on GSM analysis and Newsprint Press reel room calculator and the out come is amazing. As the result was satisfactory with 100% testing, then we published in this blog as real time calculator for public access
