BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Gufei Zhang is an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Danish Institute for Advanced Study in the University of Southern Denmark.
After completing his BSc in Applied Physics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Gufei Zhang worked as a research assistant in the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in Germany. Afterwards, he joined the Institute for Nanoscale Physics and Chemistry at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (INPAC-KU Leuven), Belgium, and earned his PhD degree in Physics in 2013.
Dr. Zhang's research interests and expertise fall within the categories of quantum materials, condensed matter physics, mesoscopic physics, semiconductor physics, spintronics, and plasmonics.
