All GA Tech Students can create Knack accounts for free! Simply log into Knack, selecting Georgia Tech as your instituion, and access tutors for undergraduate and graduate level courses. By connecting students with peers who have successfully navigated the same courses, Knack not only improves academic outcomes but also fosters a sense of community.
Peer-Led Undergraduate Study (PLUS) sessions provide opportunities for students enrolled in traditionally challenging courses to work together to review course content, develop learning and study strategies, and prepare for exams. These voluntary sessions are offered several times each week and are facilitated by peer leaders (PLUS leaders) who have already successfully completed the course. PLUS leaders meet with Tutoring and Academic Support (TAS) staff and the instructor each week. In addition, they attend the course daily with the students.
PLUS supports high-risk courses rather than high-risk students.
All students enrolled in a PLUS-supported course are encouraged to attend PLUS— not just those struggling.
PLUS starts with the first week of classes and continues to the end of the term.
