Site Name / Page Title

The first thing to do when building a site is to give it a name. Click in the top left corner where it says "Untitled Site" and name your site.

Next, you want to give the page you are working on a name. Simply click "Your page title" and enter a page title.

Pages

Google Sites only has one style of page you can create. However, as the creator of the site you do have some options for personalization.

Clicking the Pages tab in the top right corner gives you a variety of options:

  • Add New Page or a New link - click the circle with a + icon at the bottom of the menu pane on the right

  • 3 Dots - while the mouse is hovering over a page title, click the three dots (right of page title) to make a page the homepage, duplicate the page, see the page properties, add a sub-page, hide the page from the navigation, or delete a page

  • To rename a page, double click on the title of the page

Rearrange pages by clicking on anywhere on the page title in the menu pane to the right and dragging it the order you want
